|Name(s)||Vladmir Ilyich Lenin|
Vladmir Lenin was born in Simbirsk, Russia on April 22nd, 1870. He died in January 21, 1924 in Gorki, Russia. He is famous for spearheading the Bolshevik Revolution leading to the creation of the U.S.S.R.; which he then became the first ever leader of. His theories and his ideologies were coined; Leninism. Leninism made a major contribution in the creation of the communist ideology.Edit
Lenin's mummification began as soon as he died. The leaders at the time wanted to display his body for the public, and then decided to preserve it for a long time. Even today; due to enhanced embalming techniques perfected for nearly a century; Lenin's corpse looks as like a 53 year old's body. Last year Russia spent 13 million ruble (or $200,000) on maintaining his body. Contrary to past methods, where they want to preserve what the body materials are rather than having it look the same; Lenin's body is made to look as it did when he died rather than keeping his original biological structure (he is regularly infused with plastic, and numerous other materials). However, the results are amazing, as his body looks, feels, weighs, and is even flexible like it was when he died.
