On October 28, 1925, Howard Carter (an English Egyptologist) and his team over the lid of the last sarcophagus of the burial chamber in tomb KV62 discovering Tutankhamun's mummy. Even though his tomb had already been discovered in the Valley of the Kings in 1922, the tomb was not opened later on.

Biography== Tutankhamun had the title of the 11th pharaoh of the 18th Dynasty of the New Kingdom of Egypt, meaning that his mummy is about 3,300 ears old. It was estimated that Tutankhamun was around 17 to 19 when he passed away. He also had other titles such as, "Boy-King" and "Child-King" as it is believed that he became king at the age of 10.
