The Lord of Sipán was found wearing numerous pieces of expensive jewelry and ornaments. This leads archeologists to believe that he was of the highest class.
6 additional people were buried with the Lord of Sipán. Three females, two males, and an infant of about 9-10 years of age. A pet dog and male warrior were also found on the roof of the burial chamber.
