Ramses I was referred to as Menpehtyre Ramses I. he ruled in the 19th Egyptian dynasty. His reign thrived through 1292 BC to 1290 BC. He restored the established order in Egypt by promoting the code of laws and education of all traces of heretic religion. He was originally a military commander. By the time he became Pharaoh he was over 60. He died in 1290 BC in the valley of kings.


He was mummified in the Valley of Kings in 1290 BC.
