BiographyEdit

Oetzi know as the IIceman who lived around 3,300 BCE. It is believed that the body was of a recently deceased mountaineer who is about four thousand years old.

MummificationEdit

Otzi was found by two German tourists on September 19, 1991. At first,the body was thought to be a modern corpse as there were many found in the area. He is Europe's oldest known natural human mummy. His body and belongings are displayed in the South Tyrol Museum of Archaeology in Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy.

PathologyEdit

Otzi was most likely took a deadly shot to the head after an arrow lacerated an artery below his left collarbone.
