Merneptah was the fourth ruler of the nineteenth dynasty of Ancient Egypt and reigned for the final ten years of his life. Merneptah is the thirteenth son of Ramesses II, who was the third pharaoh of the nineteenth dynasty of Ancient Egypt.
Merneptah had severe arthritis and suffered from atherosclerosis. He was wrapped and buried in a tomb in the Valley of the Kings in Egypt.
