| Lady Tarim - Red haired Chinese Mummy |
|Status||Possibly a princess|
|Site||Tarim Basin, in Xinjiang province|
Lady Tarim was found among hundred of other mummies similar to her features with red or blond hair. She is a very controversial topic because she is Caucasian in an Asian country. This leads experts to believe that the early settlers in China were actually European.
Lady Tarim was buried in fine garments and expensive jewelry. Her mummification was perfect and she is still preserved very well to this day.
