| Badi N Huri |
|Name(s)||Badi N Huri|
Badi N Huri is one of 30 mummies found in a 2600 year old tomb just outside of Cairo in the necropolis Saqqara. This tomb was found at the bottom of a 11m deep shaft and dates to the 26th Dynasty. Due to the poor preservation of the mummies archaeologists have yet to identify them or determine why so many of them are all in the same room. The name Badi is borne on a wooden sarcophagi, but no other identifying marks or titles are present. As such, it is difficult to determine who Badi was. This particular tomb was found at an even older site that dates back to the 6th Dynasty, 4300 years ago.
