Akhenaten is considered one of the most famous Pharaohs of ancient Egypt, and also the son of Amenhotep III, he inherited a prosperous and peaceful nation. He is considered the father of monotheism. Historians are not sure how he died or when other than it was in the 17th year of his rule. He was buried in a Valley-of-the-Kings-style tomb cut into a cliff east of Amarna.
